The Madhavni Group of Companies wants to invest in ethanol production and has set aside more than 50 billion shilling for the project, Uganda Business News reported. The company wants to produce more than 25 million liters of ethanol and plans to construct its ethanol plant in the Mukono district. The company will sell the ethanol it produces to the government, as Uganda currently buys ethanol from South Africa and other countries.
