Israeli Company Develops Fuel Ethanol Project in Colombia



Israeli-based Merhav plans to enter the Colombian biofuels industry through subsidiary Agrifuels de Colombia SA in Bogota, Columbia, according to IndustrialInfo.com.

The company plans to build an ethanol plant in Pivijay, in the northern region of the country about 40 miles from the Caribbean coast.
