General Comments:

Soybeans closed 7 cents higher in the November contract and 5 1/2 cents higher in the January contract. Corn closed 4 cents lower in the December and 3 3/4 cents lower in the March. Wheat closed 2 3/4 cents lower in the December Chicago, 4 1/4 cents lower in the December Kansas City, and 4 1/2 cents lower in the December Minneapolis contract. The U.S. dollar index is .353 higher. December gold is $7.30 higher while December silver is $0.031 higher and December copper is $3.40 higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 18 points.
