Dry weather covered the entire central U.S. Friday afternoon. Rains continued in Texas, but were well south of the Corn Belt. Conditions were generally favorable for harvest, especially in the western and northern areas. Temperatures ranged from the mid-40s in Minnesota to the upper 70s in far south Texas. Midwest values were mainly in the 40s and 50s.

Saturday will again be dry, offering more harvest progress. We'll see a mix of light rain and snow move into the northern Midwest Monday and Tuesday as conditions turn less favorable for harvest progress during the next five days.
