I am evaluating five vertical tillage tools; a Salford RTS an RTS XT, Great Plains Turbo Till and Turbo Chopper and a Case 330 Turbo. Each machine cuts and sizes residue, disturbs less soil, maintains more residue, and creates less erosion compared to traditional disking and chiseling practices.
I am fortunate that Tracy Deckart from Great Plains, Greg Mueller from Salford and Robert Zemenchik from Case Tillage Products will be present to talk about the tools, how to set them up and operate them, and what to expect.
