Winter Wheat Crop Deja Vu

Wheat Quality Council Executive Director Ben Handcock and Jennifer Schmatz, a senior buyer with Rich Products Corporation, were part of a group of scouts that estimated yields in 12 different fields between Manhattan and Colby Tuesday. Crop scouts on the 2015 Hard Red Winter Wheat Tour reported that fields of stunted, stressed wheat were the norm Tuesday as they made their way west from Manhattan toward Colby, Kansas.
