Editor:

Since we're asking questions, I have one that has really been eating away at me. When is "enough is enough" as far as government regulations are concerned?

Does anyone else hold strong opinions about the fact that the government is now attempting to regulate what a farmer can and cannot do on his own property? I thought the founding fathers created this country to get away from over-regulating.

Doesn't the constitution give a property owner the right to do as he or she wishes with their property? What is the point in living in this great country of freedom if you have someone else (sitting in a plush easy chair in Washington, D.C.) telling you, "No you cannot do this or that just because you own your property"!

I really think it's time that Americans stand up and let Washington bureaucrats know that government is overstepping their bounds and we've had enough. I, for one, refuse to vote for any incumbent and hope to send a message to anybody that aspires to hold office that they work for "WE THE PEOPLE", either listen to us or get the hell out!

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" Thanks. Be interesting to hear from others on how, and WHO should be managing their farm.

John Moore, Manhattan, Ill.
