Spot Ethanol Prices Flat in Thin Early Trade

U.S. spot ethanol prices were mostly unchanged during lackluster trade Thursday afternoon, sandwiched between losses for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and higher New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures.

Prompt Argo ethanol traded unchanged at $1.40 per gallon, with any February prices seen at $1.41 per gallon and Chicago Rule 11 ethanol for this week shipment traded 1.5 cents lower at $1.42 per gallon. New York Harbor ethanol barge was valued at $1.51 per gallon, unchanged for the day.
