Senate Moves on Legislation Requiring EPA to Start Over on Rule

In states like Kansas, it is estimated the waters of the United States rule would increase the number of streams falling in EPA jurisdiction by more than 400% to about 170,000 stream miles. (DTN file photo by Chris Clayton)
During a news conference Thursday, a group of senators said farmers in their respective states continue to say the waters of the United States rule continues to be the No. 1 regulatory concern, even more so than the Endangered Species Act.
