This chart shows monthly U.S. ethanol exports over the past two and one half years. In the first six months of 2014, exports are running 52% above a year ago, an unexpected increase in this year's demand which is pushing ethanol prices higher and providing hope that support for corn prices may be near. (DTN chart)
A surprising increase in ethanol exports in 2014 is giving corn prices hope for support, even with a record crop ahead.
