West Coast Spot Ethanol Prices Lower as Weekly Supply Eyed

Spot ethanol prices slumped in California and Arizona while remained unchanged in other regional trade hubs during a thinly-traded Tuesday session ahead of weekly ethanol supply data due out Wednesday from the Energy Information Administration.

Ethanol for this week shipment to northern California was talked down 4.0 cents at a $1.66 to $1.70 per gallon bid/ask, while spot Arizona ethanol traded early at $1.66 and again at $1.68 per gallon, down 3.0 cents on the day.
