Bolls open in the Rio Grande Valley. Dryland cotton appeared as vigorous as irrigated on the Plains. Beneficial rain fell in parts of the Southeast. Multiple insect treatments applied in the Delta. Crop advanced rapidly in the Far West. World values fell last week.
