USDA Targets Conservation Above Aquifer

Under funding announced Thursday, USDA will help conservation and water districts within the Ogallala Aquifer area conserve water, including transforming some Kansas acres from irrigated to dryland farming. (DTN file photo by Karl Wolfshohl)
USDA announced it would provide $6.5 million to help conserve water across the Ogallala Aquifer in 2015.
