USDA: New GMO Wheat Case

2nd Case in Montana; Source of Oregon GM Wheat Inconclusive

USDA could not determine the source of genetically-modified wheat found in an Oregon field in 2013. The agency reported a second case of genetically modified wheat plants found in Montana. (DTN file photo)
USDA announced on Friday that after an exhaustive investigation, it couldn't figure out how Monsanto's Roundup Ready wheat got into a field in Oregon. The agency also announced a new investigation into an occurrence on a Montana research farm.
