Farmers Debate Joining Lawsuit Against Syngenta Over MIR 162 Trait

Lawyers began pursuing cases against Syngenta in the wake of China rejecting any U.S. corn exports that tested positive for the seed company's Agrisure Viptera trait (MIR 162) starting in November 2013. (DTN file photo by Pam Smith)
Some farmers have been on the fence about joining the corn litigation against Syngenta, but now that a federal judge has ruled the cases can proceed, more attorneys will be filing on behalf of their clients.
