An interesting study by a team of mostly British climate scientists concludes that it may be too late to stop climate change, but some of its most dangerous effects can be delayed.

The study is the first one that looks at climate, policies and impacts over time. The study concludes that while climate change impacts that are avoidable with policy changes are small by 2030 and 2050, an ounce of policy prevention today eventually becomes a pound of cure by 2100.

Included in the benefits from emission control efforts, according to the study, is that crop production limitations would be lessened because of reduced temperature stress. We have discussed this repeatedly in terms of higher summertime nighttime minimum temperatures having a detrimental effect on corn yields.

Very sad that you feel a need to strike such personal blows Brandon. While I have different views you don't hear such personally targeted anger from me. I doubt you are always this way so expect a more respectable dialog in future blogs, it's the issues we address, not personal ridicule.

Hey look, it is the Village Idiot, Tin Can Banging Monkey, Rush Limbaugh of the left, aka Jay, back for more!! What a naive idiot, thinking that all that is green is so idealistic and nothing but good intentions, here to save the planet. Go away fool. As soon as we are done with you left and right cheerleaders, we can get something done.

So you trust the carbon users to bring an "unbiased report",,, yeah they have much more compassion since they make billions and give congressmen billions! Keep in denial guys but keep your drought in the "red" states!

This coming from the "unbiased Euro researchers ". Follow the money and and the true "GREEN" agenda and corruption will be revealed. Natural heating and cooling cycles have always happened. They can't be trusted to provide objective data or solutions.

Humans are incapable of planning so far in advance, we will use the last barrel of oil available with no new plans or concerns for the future or present, just the so it makes money.

Wednesday's Washington Insider also has a section devoted to a summary of this study.
