Interesting Climate Change Study
An interesting study by a team of mostly British climate scientists concludes that it may be too late to stop climate change, but some of its most dangerous effects can be delayed.
The study is the first one that looks at climate, policies and impacts over time. The study concludes that while climate change impacts that are avoidable with policy changes are small by 2030 and 2050, an ounce of policy prevention today eventually becomes a pound of cure by 2100.

Included in the benefits from emission control efforts, according to the study, is that crop production limitations would be lessened because of reduced temperature stress. We have discussed this repeatedly in terms of higher summertime nighttime minimum temperatures having a detrimental effect on corn yields.
