New North Study Finds Interest in Supplying Cellulosic Ethanol Feedstocks

A study conducted by New North, Inc. found that local farmers would be willing to supply feedstocks to a cellulosic ethanol plant near Niagara, Wis., according to Domestic Fuel, which would include primarily wood. The study said it would be possible to create switchgrass supplier cooperatives in the area, as well. The company is considering building a cellulosic ethanol plant on a former paper mill site.
