Cash Ethanol Prices Mostly Higher with Corn, RBOB Gains

Spot ethanol prices mostly increased Thursday with higher corn and gasoline futures markets, with exception of California where prices eased.

New York Mercantile Exchange oil futures rallied as part of a broader market relief rally spurred by risk-on trade on rising investor sentiment, which supported higher Chicago Board of Trade corn futures though exports declined on the week.

Florida cash prices were offered at $1.80 gallon for a 5.0cts gain, while prompt ethanol at the Argo terminal near Chicago was talked at $1.63 gallon for a 1.0cts gain and Chicago ethanol under Rule 11 for this week shipment traded at $1.63 gallon, up 1.0cts.This week delivered ethanol to northern California was discussed at $1.75 to $1.785 gallon bid/ask, down 1.25cts.
