Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Edge Lower With Corn, RBOB Futures
Spot ethanol prices rose early Monday but have turned mixed this afternoon, with Chicago and New York area prices reversing lower in line with a retreat for corn and RBOB futures.
Prompt ethanol at Argo terminal near Chicago traded at $1.56 gallon, down 2.0cts on the session. On the East Coast, a New York Harbor July ethanol barge was bid at $1.65 gallon early, down 0.5cts. On the West Coast, prompt ethanol shipment to northern California traded early at $1.745 gallon before trimming gains, trading a short while ago at $1.72 gallon a gain of 0.5cts on the day.
