New York Spot Ethanol Biggest Gainer as Market Rebounds
Spot ethanol prices traded higher Tuesday, snapping a four-session losing streak, boosted by higher corn and RBOB futures. The market is awaiting weekly inventory data that's expected to indicate a drawdown in supply amid rising summertime fuel demand. New York Harbor June ethanol barges traded 2.0 cents higher at $1.53 gallon, while today transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal near Chicago was pegged at $1.45 per gallon for a 0.5-cent gain on the session.
