Spot Ethanol Values Extend Lower with RBOB Futures Retreat

U.S. spot ethanol prices were talked lower in early trade Monday, extending last week's selloff as traders remain concerned about domestic production running ahead of demand.
Prompt transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal near Chicago traded at $1.50 per gallon, down 2.5 cents. Chicago ethanol under Rule 11 traded at $1.52 per gallon, down 2.0 cents.
New York Harbor May delivered ethanol barges traded at $1.60 per gallon, down 0.5 cents on the day.
