NYH, Argo Spot Ethanol Edge Higher With Corn Futures
Spot ethanol prices were notionally valued a tad higher in a choppy post-Christmas holiday session, boosted early Friday by higher corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade. Prompt ethanol at Argo was notionally valued at $1.76 gallon for a 1.0cts gain while any December transfer ethanol traded several times at $1.73 gallon, up 0.5cts. January transfer at the New York Harbor was talked in a $2.00 to $2.03 gallon bid/ask spread while December barges were pegged at $2.10 gallon, up 1.0cts for the day.
