Chicago, NYH Spot Ethanol Gains with Corn Futures Rally

U.S. spot ethanol prices rose this afternoon in Chicago and the New York Harbor, driven by a rally for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures. Spot month CBOT corn futures posted a two-week high at $3.326 bushel. Sources said Argo spot ethanol traded today at a $1.5075 gallon, an 8.0 cent hike on the session while Harbor prices are valued at $1.62 gallon for a 3.0 cent gain.
