Spot Ethanol Prices Mixed in Early Thin Trade Tuesday

U.S. spot ethanol prices were mixed in a thinly-traded early session Tuesday, with Chicago prices up for the second straight day on the back of higher Chicago Mercantile exchange corn futures, while the New York Harbor prices fell ahead of federal data due out Wednesday that's expected to show a further increase in weekly ethanol supply. Prompt Argo ethanol was talked wide at $2.12 to $2.22 gal bid/ask, up 3cts, while December Harbor barged ethanol was talked wide at $2.30 to $2.45 gallon bid/ask, down 13.5cts on the session, with January barges traded at $2.18 gallon, down 2cts.
