UK Hedge Fund to Build Ethanol Plant

UK-based hedge fund Future Capital Partners' subsidiary, Future Fuels LLP, has acquired a site and planning permission consent to build an ethanol plant near Grimsby in northeast England, according to a news release posted on HedgeCo.net.

Once completed the plant will produce ethanol, dried distillers grains, and sell carbon dioxide to the gasoline and soft drink industries.

Future Fuels signed a 15 year off-take agreement with a major gas supplier to the food and drinks market for the CO2.
