Applied Process Tech Buys Delta-T

Applied Process Technology International LLC, a subsidiary of Bateman Litwin N.V., purchased the assets of ethanol-technology company Delta-T Corp. for the minimum bid of $2.2 million at a recent auction, Ethanol Producer Magazine said.

Delta-T President and General Manager Dave Hughes said the company has ceased all operations.

The sale includes Delta-T's patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade names, drawings and pending applications; the furniture, equipment and office supplies; and all inventories.

Bateman Litwin originally purchased Delta-T for $45 million in 2007.

Applied Process Technology will be based out of Williamsburg, Va., in the same office space Delta-T used, and plans to continue work in the ethanol industry.
