Hero Biodiesel Plant Plans Expansion

Erie, Pa.-based Hero BX recently received a $1.6 million grant to expand its multi-feedstock biodiesel production capacity by 10 million gallons, according to Biofuels International.

The company expects to boost its production capacity from 45 million gallons to 55 million gallons per year.

Hero expects to expand its use of farm-raised feedstocks in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
