I want a vise, a drill, a welder, a rock grapple, a watch, storage cabinets (for sure), a winch and... Uh, oh, excuse me. I was working on my Christmas list, didn't see you there. But since you are here, take a look at this list for the stuff I hope to see under this year's Christmas tree. It's gonna' have to be a big tree -- and a bigger sleigh.

See the total cost below.

All-new ATV. Not every job offers ideal work conditions. So Wilton, a manufacturer of industrial vises and clamps, created the ATV (All Terrain Vise), which helps transform pickup trucks, utility trucks and SUVs with 2-inch hitches into instant workstations. Once inserted into a 2-inch receiver, a pin secures the vise. The 33-pound vise has a clamping force of 1 ton and comes with a mounting bracket that converts it into a bench vise.

Price: $199.99 (includes the vise, hitch pin and cotter pin, and bench mount bracket); $249.99 (with a hard-shell carrying case)

Miller's Millermatic. A popular MIG welder from Miller Electric is the Millermatic 212 Auto-Set. This all-in-one MIG welder combines the performance of the Millermatic 212 with the manufacturer's Auto-Set feature. The Auto-Set simplifies weld setup by automatically selecting wire-feed speed and voltage after the operator inputs wire diameter and material thickness. The 212 has infinite voltage control for better manual fine-tuning of the job's welding parameters. The Millermatic 212 Auto-Set can weld up to 3/8-inch mild steel in a single pass.

Price: $1,878

Dual-voltage inputs (120V or 230V) mean you can plug into any common power supply. The MIG 201 MP welds up to 3/8-inch mild or stainless steel, or aluminum up to 3/16 inches. The DC stick handles up to 5/32-inch stick electrodes.
