OMAHA (DTN) -- All four grains (corn, soybeans, wheat and grain sorghum) are sitting quietly in their cells, waiting for the long walk to the gallows and a quick drop when the trap door falls at 11 a.m. CST Friday. That's when USDA will release its Crop Production and monthly World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) reports.

USDA's October reports were cancelled due to the government shutdown. When USDA releases its Crop Production and Supply and Demand reports Friday, it'll update acreage for corn, soybeans, sorghum, sunflowers, canola and dry edible beans.
