Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour Preview

OMAHA (DTN) -- Scouts on this year's Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour will see corn in the dough stage that's lagging the average development pace by one to two weeks. They'll also see lots of short soybean plants that haven't canopied. They may even see plants that are just starting to bloom.

The late crops will make the tour's yield estimates more subjective than in prior years, Pro Farmer editor Chip Flory said.
