Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across portions of the region this afternoon. This activity will be most likely across northern New England, the western part of southern New England and eastern New York. A few showers or storms may occur elsewhere, but chances are low and activity will be light. A few Rainfall amounts of 0.15 to 0.50 inches will be common with isolated amounts of 1 inch or more possible with the slow moving showers and thunderstorms.
