Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be common across the region today with most of this activity east of I-81. A few showers will be in the Hudson River Valley into Vermont, New Hampshire and western Maine in the morning hours. Chances for thunderstorms will begin in the early afternoon throughout the Hudson River Valley into Vermont, northern New Hampshire and western Maine.
