Today, high pressure will keep dry and mainly quiet conditions through the overnight hours for most of the region. However, after midnight a warm front will approach western portions of the region and this will allow for snow mixed with sleet to develop western New York after midnight. Accumulations by daybreak will run an inch or less. Winds will continue to stay breezy through this afternoon eastern New England, but will gradually diminish by this evening and overnight. Temperatures are expected to remain near to slightly below normal.
