Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected today generally. There’s a patch of clouds over the western half of the region that will diminish during the morning and clouds over the mountains of northeast Tennessee, western North Carolina, southwest Virginia and southeast Kentucky will diminish as well but there could still be a few flurries through mid to late morning.
