High pressure will remain over the Tennessee Valley today and tonight with mostly dry conditions expected. The exception today will be for areas along the Mississippi/Arkansas border where a few light showers may occur on and off. Tonight, most of the shower activity looks to remain west of the Mississippi River, but a few showers may drift into western Tennessee or northwestern Mississippi late tonight.
