High pressure will briefly build into the Tennessee Valley today and tonight with dry conditions returning to the region. However, a few sprinkles or light rain showers may be possible near the Mississippi-Arkansas border. Rain amounts will be very light. Highs will be in the mid 40s north to low 50s south, which is near to slightly above normal. Lows tonight will be in the upper 20s east to low 40s west.
