High pressure will briefly build into the Tennessee Valley today and tonight with dry conditions returning to the region. However, a few sprinkles or light rain showers may be possible near the Mississippi-Arkansas border. Rain amounts will be very light. Highs will be in the mid 40s to low 50s, which is near to slightly above normal. Lows tonight will be in the upper 20s to low 40s.
