Precipitation Impact Commentary

The Midwest region shows moderately dry to very dry through portions of the northwest and far west at this time. We see very wet categories over southern Wisconsin and parts of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Missouri at this time. No significant departures from normal elsewhere in the region.

The northern plains region shows moderately dry to extremely dry in the east. We see mostly normal and isolated very wet in the western areas.
