Scattered snow showers and lake effect snow will occur in Michigan, northern Indiana, and portions of Ohio through tonight. Locally heavy snow will be possible in western Michigan today and tonight with 3-8 inches possible in any bands. Higher amounts may occur in the heaviest, most persistent bands. A few snow showers or flurries may drift into portions of West Virginia and may clip eastern Kentucky. This highest accumulation will be in the Appalachians with 1-4 inches possible.
