Milk

Little has changed as far as milk production across the country is concerned. Weather is good for cow comfort even in the West as temperatures have cooled. Milk receipts and supply varies across the country with the Central region indicating milk production is beginning to exceed demand while the Western region indicates plants are running below capacity. Milk production is expected to steadily increase as the calendar moves forward. Milk components are beginning to show some signs of improving as well, allowing for increased cheese yields.
