Bottling demand is termed as flat to slightly lower over the past week. This allows for greater milk volume to move to manufacturing. Higher manufacturing has not yet had a negative impact on cheese and butter prices. Higher product prices and lower world prices have had an impact on exports, but have not had an impact on prices. With strong butter price, it is interesting to see that butter production is below year-ago levels.
