Milk futures continue to erode due to minimal price movement in underlying cash prices. Limited volatility and overall weaker prices leave little reason to maintain price premiums to cash. Traders find little incentive to establish long-term positions and continue to scalp the market in an attempt to take some profit out of the market. The increase of block cheese price Tuesday did not turn any heads. A pattern has been established that any spot price increase is short-lived and not a price direction. There is just too much milk and dairy product out there to cause concern for buyers. ...
