Sharp losses in the feeder cattle futures market early Tuesday morning has placed the overall cattle complex on the defensive, and could create additional strong pressure through the rest of the session. Traders are looking for additional direction from beef values and outside market activity before stepping more aggressively into the market. Corn futures are trading higher in light trade in early trade. Stock markets are higher, with Dow Jones 2 points higher and Nasdaq up 2 points.
