Cattle buyers are out gathering new showlists, but once the early week chore is completed they will probably make themselves scarce for at least several days. We expect the late July offering to be somewhat larger than last week thanks to limited WTD trade volume posted on Friday. Some feedlot managers are floating asking prices around $148 in the South and $236 plus in the North. The cash hog trade is seeing bids this morning ranging from steady to $1 lower.
