Cash hog bids have a fairly large range this morning, all the way from $1 higher to $1 lower. However, most buyers appear to be using money steady to 0.50 lower compared wit Wednesday. Cattle country is extremely quiet in the early rounds. A few preliminary bids of $157 have been refreshed in Kansas, but that's at it. We may not see significant trade volume develop until sometime Friday. Some asking prices are around $162 in the South and $255-260 in the North.
