Outside Markets:

Triple-digit losses plagued major U.S. indices on Tuesday with the TSX equity index ending 377 points lower at 13,482 on Tuesday, with sharp losses also seen in the Dow. Wednesday's trade saw Asian markets end lower with Japan's Nikkei down .4%. China's Shanghai Composite was down .2%. European markets are trading mixed. The Canadian dollar is 36 basis points lower at $.7535 CAD/USD while the U.S. dollar index is .274 higher at 95.720. Gold is $2.50 lower at $1,136.20/ounce.
