Global stock markets didn't handle the news well of the escalating tensions in Greece on Monday, with the TSX equity index ending down 318 points to 14,490. Tuesday is the deadline for a significant debt payment to the IMF, which could very well end in default. A Reuter's poll of economists pegged the odds of Greece leaving the European Union at 45%. Tuesday's trade saw Asian markets finish higher with China's Shanghai Composite up 5.5% and Japan's Nikkei up .6%. European markets are lower.
