CME Globex Recap:

Global grain markets, from China and Malaysia to the United States, were lower overnight through Monday morning. Most of the pressure on the U.S. markets continues to come from weather as traders react to another benign weekend and look ahead to improved conditions in Monday afternoon's weekly report.

OUTSIDE MARKETS:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 56.12 points lower Friday at 17,689.86. Asian markets were mostly lower with the Nikkei down 37.13 points at 20,548.11 while China's Shanghai Composite was down another 40.82 points. European markets were mostly higher.
