Morning CME Globex Update:December corn was down 1 3/4 cents, November soybeans were down 6 1/2 cents, and December Chicago wheat was down 5 1/4 cents. At 8 a.m. CDT, USDA announced that China bought 1.236 mmt of U.S. soybeans (45.4 mb) for 2014-15, possibly part of the larger sale announced Monday evening in Milwaukee. USDA also said that Mexico bought 375,936 metric tons (14.8 mb) of U.S. corn for 2014-15. Before the announcement, all three grains are lower early Friday with November soybeans and December Chicago wheat slipping to new contract lows.
