Morning CME Globex Update: December corn was up 1/2 cent, November soybeans were up 1 cent, and September Chicago wheat was up 3 1/2 cents. At 8 a.m., USDA announced that 180,000 metric tons of soybean cake and meal were sold to Vietnam and 225,000 tons of the same were sold to unknown destinations, both for 2014-15. 20,000 tons of soybean oil were also sold to unknown destinations for 2014-15. August soybeans are up 14 cents early Tuesday, finding support from China's recent soybean purchases keeping limited supplies of old-crop soybeans in demand.
