SAVANNAH, Ga. (DTN) -- The former Soviet Union (FSU) continues to be a world leader in fertilizer production despite the break-up of the country into 15 republics. Current world trade barriers and future North American production are challenges the republics have to overcome to continue to be large players in the global fertilizer market.
