GENERAL COMMENTS:

From Friday to Friday livestock futures scored the following changes: Feb LC, Up 4.27; Jun LC, Up 2.50; May FC, Up 2.72; Aug FC, Up 3.15; Apr LH, Up 2.67; May LH, Off .10. The cash cattle trade was slow in developing today with only light-moderate trade volume evident as of this writing. Some live sales in the South have been marked at $165, $2 higher than a week ago. On the other hand, scattered dressed deals in parts of the North have been reported at $263, generally $3 to $4 higher than last week's weighted averages. ...
