OMAHA (DTN) -- Generally dry Midwest conditions along with some notable heat in Argentina are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Tuesday.

QUIET MIDWEST PATTERN

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for lower temperatures to return to the Midwest this week, but much less intense than the trend during the first part of the winter. The pattern will also be much less active, meaning a drier trend. This favors transportation and livestock. Additional cold weather is possible during the six-to-10-day period.
