OMAHA (DTN) -- Light precipitation ahead for western Midwest, dry weather affecting the Southern Plains' crops, precipitation for the eastern Midwest, no significant precipitation for the Northern Plains, disappointing rains for Argentina, concerns remaining for southern Brazil, cooler weather for South Africa, and a warm outlook for Ukraine and Russia are the main weather items for the commodity trade's attention Monday.

LIGHT PRECIPITATION AHEAD FOR WESTERN MIDWEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for no significant precipitation during the next five to seven days, although episodes of light precipitation are possible. No significant cold weather is expected this week.
