Light to moderate snow continued Friday in the Great Lakes, and developed in the southeastern Plains through southern Midwest. A round of moderate rain was also noted in the Delta and Deep South. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from below zero in the southern Prairies to the low 70s in south Texas.
